The Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang (FEB UM) held the 6th International Research Conference on Economic and Business (IRCEB) on Thursday (11/03/2022). This activity carries the theme “Advancing Digital Transformation Toward Sustainable Economic And Business In Continuing Recovery With Inclusive Growth”. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner, directly in the Hall on the 8th floor of Building A20, State University of Malang and online through a zoom meeting.

There are two series of events in this activity, including Parallel Presentation and Plenary Session. The parallel session is filled with online paper presentations from 07.00 WIB to 09.00 WIB. In this parallel session, there were 11 rooms with participants from various national and international universities. The Plenary Session is filled with national seminars from various presenters who are experts in their fields. The remarks were made by Mr. Ahmad Fawaiq Suwanan, SE, M.Si as the chief executive of IRCEB activities and Mr. Dr. Agus Hermawan, GradDipMgt., M.Si, Mbus as Vice Dean 1 of FEB UM.

IRCEB raises issues of concern to the G-20, mainly related to national economic recovery. Several expert speakers were invited to provide materials related to these issues. Among them are Prof. Dr. Emine Serra Yurtkoru from Marmara University Turkiye, Derry Tanti Wijaya, Phd from Boston University, Brian Perrin, Phd from Curtin University, and Prof. Dr. Hari Wahyono, M.Pd from Malang State University.

“IRCEB is part of an academic atmosphere that discusses various current issues in the fields of economics and business. Especially now that we are in a post-pandemic transitional period, where a national economic recovery is needed. Digital transformation has recently affected many things, one of which is patterns and habits in business, for that we need to continue to adapt,” said ViceDean I of FEB UM in his remarks.
